Shopify · NetSuite · Celigo
One operational story across storefront, ERP, warehouse, and finance.
Antique Candle Co. runs a direct-to-consumer Shopify store and a wholesale operation with NetSuite as the system of record. DevTeamPro provides ongoing NetSuite and Celigo integration support so orders, invoices, inventory, and financial activity remain aligned as the business grows.
Antique Candle Co.Shopify · NetSuite · CeligoComplexity lived between the systems.
The operational risk lived after checkout. Shopify and NetSuite could disagree about order status, wholesale invoicing required manual attention, available inventory did not always explain on-hand quantities, and finance teams still had recurring transaction data to enter or repair. Each gap created another opportunity for refunds, back orders, customer confusion, or delayed books.
02 · What we delivered
Built around the operating reality.
- Maintained the two-way Celigo integration between Shopify and NetSuite so orders flow into the ERP and meaningful status changes return to the storefront.
- Extended cancellation behavior so a NetSuite cancellation correctly updates the Shopify wholesale order instead of leaving the two systems in conflict.
- Automated wholesale invoicing through Celigo flows driven by NetSuite saved searches and explicit business criteria.
- Investigated inventory discrepancies including on-hand stock with no available quantity and orders unexpectedly appearing in back-order reporting.
- Traced scheduled scripts and allocation behavior behind inventory numbers rather than treating reports as isolated symptoms.
- Built reusable NetSuite CSV import templates for bulk credit-card transactions, customer payments, and journal entries.
- Diagnosed failed finance imports down to missing chart-of-accounts mappings and vendor records so subsequent month-end loads could complete cleanly.
03 · Outcome
Quiet automation that removes friction as volume grows.
Shopify and NetSuite maintain a more dependable shared view of each order, wholesale invoices generate from the right criteria, inventory exceptions have a traceable cause, and finance can load recurring activity in bulk. The ongoing relationship turns operational contradictions into managed, repeatable workflows.
