BigCommerce · Celigo · NetSuite
One case-pack definition from NetSuite to every buying experience.
Mountain View Hearth Products sells parts to wholesale, retail, and guest buyers. Many products sell by the case, which means the case-pack quantity is not merely storefront copy—it controls whether a buyer can place a valid order.

When case-pack data is maintained separately in the ERP and storefront, it drifts. A wholesale buyer can order the wrong quantity, operations discovers the problem after the order arrives, and staff becomes responsible for reconciling two versions of the same truth.
02 · What we delivered
Built around the operating reality.
- Made NetSuite the official source for case-pack data and synchronized it outward through Celigo into a BigCommerce custom product field.
- Connected the WordPress storefront to the synchronized field so the customer-facing quantity always reflects the ERP value.
- Implemented customer-type-aware purchasing behavior for wholesale, retail, and guest buyers, including valid case multiples after login.
- Worked through Avalara and native BigCommerce tax configuration, including tax-exempt customer-group behavior.
- Separated NetSuite auto-fulfillment and auto-invoicing into independent controls so staff can operate orders in the sequence the business requires.
- Advanced special-order purchase-order linking and configured warehouse roles and attachment access without over-privileging users.
03 · Outcome
One number, owned once, used everywhere.
The website and ERP no longer depend on manually reconciled case-pack lists. Wholesale, retail, and guest buyers receive an appropriate buying experience, while operations retains NetSuite as the durable source of truth.
