Magento 2 · B2B operations
A secure Magento upgrade followed by vendor routing built around the business.
Offset Press Supply serves the commercial print trade through an established Magento 2 storefront. The business needed to modernize an aging platform first, then add the vendor-routing workflow its operations had outgrown.

Complexity lived between the systems.
The store had fallen behind on Magento versions and security patches, but extensions, theme behavior, and checkout had to survive the upgrade. Operationally, vendor assignments and notifications lived too heavily in people’s heads. The client also needed a scope that respected a real operating budget.
02 · What we delivered
Built around the operating reality.
- Sequenced the engagement into a fixed-deadline Magento 2 platform upgrade followed by a dedicated vendor-management phase.
- Staged and tested the upgrade on dedicated infrastructure before the production release, protecting checkout, extensions, and storefront behavior.
- Added product-level vendor assignment so merchandisers maintain routing as catalog data rather than tribal knowledge.
- Built automatic purchase-order email notifications with multiple recipient addresses for vendor and internal stakeholders.
- Imported historical and in-flight orders from the existing database so the new workflow started with real operational context.
- Triaged and repaired a post-update Place Order button failure the same day, protecting the site’s most revenue-critical action.
03 · Outcome
A current platform and a workflow the business can actually operate.
Offset Press Supply gained a secure Magento foundation and a practical vendor-routing model without forcing both priorities into one risky release. The phased structure let urgent platform work land first and created room for a focused three-to-four-month operations build.
